| Why does Job Canada Carbon Copy e-mails?
In the past some of our customers have experienced computer and e-mail problems during the run of their ad and have lost any resumes that were sent to them through our website. If you do not remove the Carbon Copy (a lot of people do) we will receive a copy of what you've sent to the employer. In the event that they had problems, we will be able to fax them your resume. We STRONGLY recommend leaving the carbon copy as is. If you are using a hotmail or other web-based account you can simply enter feedback@jobcanada.org in your CC line.

| Can I change the subject line of the e-mail when I click on a link?
Yes, but it's not a good idea. Leaving the subject line as is, helps our customers keep track of where their response is coming from. It also lets them know what position you are applying for. Some employers post multiple ads. Job Canada also provides what's called a PO box. This means that an employer who wishes to remain annonymous, can have resumes e-mailed to Job Canada, and then faxed to them. Because of this, we need to know reference numbers and position titles of ads so we know which employer to send your resume to. If you are using a hotmail or other web-based account, please let the employer know where you saw their ad and what position you are seeking. The same goes for faxing and calling. Believe it or not, this type of information is very important to employers.

| How do I know which ads are old and which ones are new?
That's easy! No ads are old. Every Friday at 3pm all old or filled positions are removed and all new positions are posted. We never keep a position posted for more than a week unless the position has not been filled, in this case, you may see the position posted for a few weeks. If a position is filled during the week, the posting will be removed that Friday.
